The Czech Edition!

I’m a sucker for gimmicks! All of the covers in this new imprint have a similar design, which includes a talking rabbit in the background.

Yes, I said a rabbit...that talks.

(Check out this page to see another cover from the same imprint, for Carolyn Mackler’s The Earth, My Butt, and Other Big Round Things.)

This is totally different from the other covers.

That is the most bizarre thing I've ever seen. What is the rabbit saying?

The rabbit's saying, "Hannah..."

At least it's not saying, "Eh, what's up, Hannah?"

Is there any meaning to the rabbit?

Wow that's a pretty random rabbit, it's on the other cover too so it must mean something though...

^ I think it does. I vaguely remember reading something about habit in the book, not sure though. Btw Mr. Jay, I heard that 13RW would have a new UK cover, is that true?

Hello there. I just finished your book. I have to say it's a great book. Sad, but great. I had an experience today that made me think of your book. I was sitting down to eat my lunch outside my work building, and a guy drives up in his car, waiting for his girlfriend to walk over and get it. I glance up a few times while I'm eating and watch them. After she gets in and they start driving by I looked up again and the guy driving flipped me off. For no reason. And it made me think about your book. Any action, no matter how small you may think it is, can have an affect on someone.

Stefanie and em - Rabbits are symbols of fertility, so maybe they're hoping the books sell in massive amounts there. (I do, too!)

Thao - I just did a word search. Not a rabbit, bunny, or hare in sight. And if you scroll down my blog, you'll see the U.K. cover on the right. I don't know of a newer one than that, though.

Panderskye - Flipping the bird from a moving car while the other person is just sitting there? Now that was a brave man. He created a confrontation...and then got the heck outta there!

Oh my god, that's sooo ugly. Like the rabbit, though. Well no, I don't.

I really love the UK cover. I think I'll bye this version as soon as it's released. That girl on the cover is more like the Hannah that I imagine than the one on the US cover.

I only own the German version. It's okay, but I prefer covers with a nice photo on it. Can't wait to read the original version.

Hi,

I just finished your book. We had to read it for a YA lit class and I LOVED it. I just felt it needed saying.
