I woke up feeling very excited this morning. I love December! I love Christmas! And I love JoanMarie & Isaiah (JoanMarie's birthday is December 25th, and Isaiah's is the 11th)!
Growing up, the first thing I did every December morning was mark the day with my Advent calendar. Usually, there was a small toy or piece of chocolate waiting for me. Maybe next year we'll go that route with Isaiah, but right now we're limiting his access to sugar-rushes and choking hazards.
But the traditions begin immediately!

1st birthday in 10 days - won't tell you what # for his birthday-share partner - but let us be the 1st to wish Isaiah a Happy 1st birthday - even if it is is 10 days in advance
One year old already?! Wow, time sure flies! And JoanMarie's birthday is on Christmas? That's really cool! My father knows someone who will turn 106 years old on Christmas Eve.
my mother in law's birthday is the 25th i feel kinda bad for her because its all about chistmas, and not a day for her. I guess it would have been differnt when she was a child her self. Maybe ill pick a day during the year and just surprise her with a random birthday present. hope that you have a great december.
Love the advent calendar tradition! We hang one up that we made for Tristam and I think he gets more excited about that than christmas. So...since Isaiah won't be enjoying chowing down on the chocolate (did I understand that right?) will Mom and Dad be raiding the calendar this year?
