During the 2011 Teen Read Week, I'll be speaking and signing books across the country, flying to six different states. If you live anywhere near one of my stops, I would love to meet you!Location and time specifics are posted at the Thirteen Reasons Why Facebook page, so be sure to Like it to receive all updates. And you can always learn about my upcoming events by clicking the Speaking Schedule tab near the top of my blog.
(If one of you can see an image in the constellation above and give it a good name, I'll use that as the nickname for this tour and send you a signed paperback of Thirteen Reasons Why.)
Yay, Texas!
ReplyDeleteAnd I believe that's the "sprinting weasel" constellation.
Aw, Jay, you're not coming anywhere near NJ :( We've got plenty of awesome libraries and indie bookstores around here (and a Barnes & Noble) that would love to have you!
ReplyDeleteCome to Abilene TX! I can't make it to Austin...
ReplyDeleteI used to live in two of those places. Used to.
ReplyDeleteDang it.
Thanks for sharing this Jay! I look forward to meeting you in Seattle!
ReplyDeleteBest,
Suma.
I wish I could go to Austin, I live only 4-5 hours away and iwould have a place to stay but I have class to attend; however, I do see a image in the constellation, a standing dove.
ReplyDeleteIt forms a dove by the line from Washinton to Ohio making the wing and some the body, the triangle that is made is the head, and the last strech from Colorado to Texas is the rest of the body and would be the legs.
It being a dove would also symbolise the peace that we want with the anti-bullying that your book gives, to just let there be peace between one another. Thats what I see and came up with.
The Dove/Peace Book Tour.
Constellation: Broken Pac-Man
ReplyDeleteLooked at the constellation for about 5 minutes, thought confidently to myself "The Weasel for sure," only to click on reply and find the name had already been said. :p
ReplyDeleteFor the constellation-thing, it kind of looks like the one called "Bootes". Perhaps not a good name for your tour, but.. It's something :-) Have a good tour, anyways!
ReplyDelete... but it could look like a "boring bicycle" as well.. or a "broken trolly".
ReplyDeleteWait wait wait, I've got it now! It's a "Hungry Giraffe"!
ReplyDeleteAny plans of heading into Canada some day? Preferably New Brusnwick *hint hint* :)
ReplyDeleteSad you're not coming to Louisiana! The constellation looks like a "Dashing Flag" :D
ReplyDeleteAww! I'm not close to any of your stops!
ReplyDeleteit looks like the "Falling Over Giraffe" constellation. :D
"Cado usque" is the constellation. :P It's (broken)Latin for falling up. *shrugs* I'm no creative enough to see an image, but atleast I tried. xD
ReplyDeleteHow about "woman sitting with her legs crossed"? hahaha
