Catalan cracks me up. It's like reading in Old English...if you sound it out, it's pretty similar to Spanish.
Traveling in Spain introduces you too all sorts of strange languages. Just wait til you get editions in Basque or Galician (where x is suddenly a very popular letter.)
Oh! I like it! :)
ReplyDeleteFabulous. I love the simplicity. I wish someday we'll have the Vietnamese version of 13RW here :D
ReplyDeleteCatalan? I'm ashamed to admit I didn't even know what that was...
ReplyDeleteAnd you have a book in it?
Wow.
That's really cool looking. =)
ReplyDeleteNot as frightening as the Italian cover. lol.
Lovely. =)
I like our American cover the best. =]
I like this one, too. It's hard to see online, but the cover includes the faint image of a girl's face in the background. Kind of eerie!
ReplyDeleteThere will be a Vietnamese edition, but I'm not sure when it's coming out.
"Catalan?" That's what I said, too. I'm learning so much more about the world because of this book!
And yes, I'm also partial to the American version. Christian Funfhausen rocks! (He designed the cover.)
Molt be!!
ReplyDelete... I have a soft spot for Catalan after studying in Barcelona though <.<
Oh I can see the face now that you pointed it out. Cute.
ReplyDeleteDo you have a copy of each version of the book? That would be cool to have on a shelf. =]
I like it. And I'm glad that 13 Reasons Why is getting a positive response in other parts of the world. It's a great book!
ReplyDeleteOh yeah! Now I see it! That's pretty cool.
