Hi Jay, I have just read Thirteen Reasons Why which I was sent as a book proof (I live in the UK, and as you know it's coming out in August here). I really enjoyed it! I was wondering if it had been sold to a French publisher yet? I am French so also writes a blog in French about English/American books. Cheers!
Hi Mr. Asher I’m from Portugal and I’ve just red you’r book (UK version). The best work I’ve ever red since Paulo Coelho - Veronika decides to die.. I just cried all the way.. I was angry, frustrated, happy.. Everything.. Thank you for this experience.. Thanks a lot.. Please, I need the portuguese version!! I need a movie!! Don’t give up.. Your new big fan Paulo Marques - Portugal
Hi. I'm brazillian and I loved the cover (and I'm fissured about the book). I think it's better than the one's that has a girl, because you tend to imagine Hannah as the girl on the cover (at least I do).
But talking about the book, it's so nice, so involving (I really don't know if this word exists... =P) that I read the entire book in some nonstopping hours (I think that was something like 6 or 7 hours).
I don't that it should be a movie from this book. I don't like when a book that I read goes to the movies, specially when I love the book, and I think it would do a very tedious film, unless the director do a lot of modifications that will change the idea. So, let's stay on the book.
I won this book from my aunt and is the best I've ever read in my entire life! I'm obsessed! I'm very happy to know that this story will turn into a wonderful movie. I can not wait to see 13RW in theaters!
Jay Asher, you're a great writer and I, as your biggest fan here in Brazil, want to read all the other books you will write because I know they all are going to be amazing.
Awesome cover! I want a copy.
ReplyDeleteCool, Jay! I'll let you know when I see it in the bookstore here, or better yet, in someone's hands on the bus!
ReplyDeleteI likey.
ReplyDeleteI want one! Too bad I don't know Portuguese : (
ReplyDeleteNice! Almost the best one yet (the Italian cover is hard to beat)
ReplyDeleteTHAT is a cool cover.
ReplyDeleteHi Jay
ReplyDeleteHere I am again: your editor from Brazil.
We're glad you liked the cover. That means a lot to us.
Personally, I love it! And I hope our readers feel the same way about it.
Best wishes,
Fabricio Waltrick
Apparently it's a hit. Fabricio, tell everyone down there, "Jay says Thank You!!!"
ReplyDeleteHow. Cool.
ReplyDeleteDo you get to help pick out all of the covers?
ReplyDeleteI didn't see any of the covers until after they were done. In fact, I usually put them on my blog just a couple of days after I first see them.
ReplyDeleteSo it's just as much a surprise for me!

ReplyDeleteL.M., yes, there will be a French edition. I'm not sure when that one comes out, but I can't wait to see the cover!
