The Brazilian Edition!

I've always loved covers that prominently display a single object!

Cool, Jay! I'll let you know when I see it in the bookstore here, or better yet, in someone's hands on the bus!

    Hi Jay

Here I am again: your editor from Brazil.

We're glad you liked the cover. That means a lot to us.

Personally, I love it! And I hope our readers feel the same way about it.

    Best wishes,
    Fabricio Waltrick

  8. Do you get to help pick out all of the covers?

  9. I didn't see any of the covers until after they were done. In fact, I usually put them on my blog just a couple of days after I first see them.

So it's just as much a surprise for me!

  10. Hi Jay, I have just read Thirteen Reasons Why which I was sent as a book proof (I live in the UK, and as you know it's coming out in August here). I really enjoyed it! I was wondering if it had been sold to a French publisher yet? I am French so also writes a blog in French about English/American books. Cheers!

  11. L.M., yes, there will be a French edition. I'm not sure when that one comes out, but I can't wait to see the cover!

    Hi Mr. Asher
I’m from Portugal and I’ve just red you’r book (UK version). The best work I’ve ever red since Paulo Coelho - Veronika decides to die.. I just cried all the way.. I was angry, frustrated, happy.. Everything.. Thank you for this experience.. Thanks a lot..
Please, I need the portuguese version!! I need a movie!! Don’t give up..
    Your new big fan

  14. Hi. I'm brazillian and I loved the cover (and I'm fissured about the book). I think it's better than the one's that has a girl, because you tend to imagine Hannah as the girl on the cover (at least I do).

But talking about the book, it's so nice, so involving (I really don't know if this word exists... =P) that I read the entire book in some nonstopping hours (I think that was something like 6 or 7 hours).

I don't that it should be a movie from this book. I don't like when a book that I read goes to the movies, specially when I love the book, and I think it would do a very tedious film, unless the director do a lot of modifications that will change the idea. So, let's stay on the book.

    Bye.

  15. I won this book from my aunt and is the best I've ever read in my entire life! I'm obsessed!
I'm very happy to know that this story will turn into a wonderful movie. I can not wait to see 13RW in theaters!

Jay Asher, you're a great writer and I, as your biggest fan here in Brazil, want to read all the other books you will write because I know they all are going to be amazing.
