I am looking forward to reading your book, sir! It has been highly recommended to me, and even before I return to thank you for it, I'd like to say tha your disclamer is hlarious! (at the bottom of the webpage) hah hah!
Hi, I'm from Germany and I just finished reading your book. I couldn't stop reading until I reached the last page - and I was really impressed by the story you wrote and how you wrote it.
I'm a very "flashy title/cover" person so when I first saw the book, my brain immediately went "Get. Book. Read. Now." And then I noticed the author's name (it's rather small in comparison to, well, the rest of the cover) and I went "Oh, wait. I've read this." I spent the next fifteen minutes contemplating whether I should buy the German one to put next to my US version. In the end I decided not to.
I didn't even pick up the book.
I have to say that I like the US one better though... this one kinda creeps me out. And makes me think of zombies (I blame the neon green...)
I am from germany and I read your books (like the german cover most!!). I loved the novel and made it to "Book of the month in april".
In one or two weeks you can see a video-review (unfortunately only in german), in which I speak of the book. You'll find it on my website (www.kossis-welt.de) and of course at www.youtube.com.
I will send you the link of course, if you want to have it! ;-)
All my best from germany! Please public a second book here as soon as possible! ;-)
That is so cool how each country has its own cover! I didn't know that about foreign editions. Congratulations, Jay!
ReplyDeleteWOW. That's a striking cover...
ReplyDeleteCONGRATS to you!!
Very powerful!
